Tuesday Threes

U.S. News and World Report, which is part of the liberal media establishment, has put out a poll saying Americans want Obama out of office 2-1. One could guess the news is actually an alarm for most of the liberal people that consume the magazine whereas, if you break down the poll it makes sense to someone like me. Young people who are trying to start their careers and whom have suffered greatly during this time – aren’t too crazy about the president and older people who are also on the edge don’t like him either. In other words, you would have to be someone with money saved in the bank or something tangible to gain in order for you to consider voting for him again. Moreover, 33 percent of those polled are AFRAID of what will happen if he is re-elected.

The last bit is real many people are concerned about the country if President Obama is re-elected, he’s not good for jobs and jobs are how people support themselves long term. Nobody lives off of dreams and fancy ideas.

Here is a map of how the country could go in the 2012 election based on current issues.

More later on the results of the New Hampshire Primary.

Breaking – It – Down on Economics

This blog post from Mr Conservative is the best example of how this blogger describes being a Republican – since my big focus is the work force and economics. It tends to distill things down a bit too much, but the point is essentially correct. Most people, many people would like jobs where they can support themselves to survive as opposed to going through the self esteem bending process of needing support. A reality the current presidential administration has missed at times with the constant press on businesses and regulations that has suppressed jobs. Then, the administration asks for more benefits which OF COURSE are needed because the job market is being deliberately repressed. Of course Republicans are stuck looking like the bad guys, they ask for businesses to be left alone so that jobs can be given to the people who want to work. At the same time they are left complaining about a president who wants to expand entitlements so he can go back to attacking companies.  In other words, the president’s actions have hurt companies causing a long term need for more welfare yet he does not change course. It’s insane. The nasty cycle struck is wrong.

The Department of Homeland Security

Oh goody big brother is watching, the recent announcement by DHS to monitor bloggers and journalists is the latest in too much big government. Hmm, does that mean I will get more web traffic? Oh goody more ad revenue! Good grief. There is a strong smell of a union between liberals and conservatives on free speech when it comes to this development.
